Winter Halo

Last night almost all the post in Facebook wast how lovely the moon was. Curious I look out in the window, it was a little bit late so moon was not visible through window.  I was already in bed so I was lazy to go out to see the moon but one post said its a phenomenon so I dragged myself outside in the cold and check out the moon. At first I said what's the difference it's the same moon I see. Then I try to widen my vision and then I saw what was everybody's talking about. There's a big ring sorrounding the moon, it looks like an alien spaceship at the top of the moon! Akala ko alien invasion na parang sa mga pelikula. Hahaha!

Winter Halo or moon ring occurs when ice crystals in the clouds  or atmosphere are reflected.
