After going to The Burger Project, to satisfy our sweet tooth, we decided to check the churros offered in the next door resto/cafe, Sancho Churreria Manila. My friend E, who studied in Madrid for 8 months, explained that almost everyday her breakfast is a freshly baked churros and how she loved (and longed for) it.
Churros are often referred as Spanish donut but compared to regular donuts they are long in shape and fried (oily it is!) thus becoming crunchy. To be more authentic Sancho has a churros maker (err a machine used in making).
and fyi on how to eat the churros: you dip the churros in the hot chocolate.
